EdgeLineup Fantasy Sports platform.

These Terms & Conditions explain how you can use EdgeLineup, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. By creating an account or using the platform in any way, you agree to everything on this page.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing EdgeLineup (the website, web app, or any related features), you:

Confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Agree to the Privacy Policy, Responsible Gaming, and Compliance pages.
Confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
Confirm that you are located in a region of India where fantasy sports-style products are permitted and that you are not accessing from a restricted state.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not create an account or use the platform.

2. Nature of the EdgeLineup service

EdgeLineup is a free-to-play, skill-based fantasy cricket platform. Users build lineups, track scoring from real match events, and compare performance with other users.

2.1 Free-to-play only

No deposits, entry fees, or purchase of credits are required to use the platform.
We do not run wallets, balances, or financial ledgers for gameplay.
We may add features in the future, but the core fantasy cricket experience is designed to remain free-to-play.

2.2 No cash rewards

Users do not receive cash, vouchers, or monetary equivalents for their performance.
Points, ranks, achievements, and badges are for recognition only and have no monetary value.
Nothing on the platform should be interpreted as an offer to earn or multiply money.

2.3 Skill-focused experience

Performance is based on your pre-match decisions and how players actually perform in real games.
Random number generators are not used to determine match results or rewards.
We design formats to highlight cricket knowledge, not chance.

2.4 No financial services

EdgeLineup is not an investment platform or financial product.
We do not provide guarantees of financial return or “income opportunities”.
Any similar interpretation goes against how the platform is intended to be used.

3. Eligibility and region restrictions

3.1 Age requirement

You must be 18 years or older to register and use EdgeLineup.
You confirm your age through the age/eligibility gate and by using the platform.
We reserve the right to close or restrict accounts if we believe they’re used by someone under 18.

3.2 Geographic scope

EdgeLineup is intended for users physically located in India.
The platform is not available in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Odisha, Sikkim, Telangana, or Tamil Nadu.
If you are in a restricted state, you should not access EdgeLineup, even if your account was created elsewhere.

3.3 One user, one account

Each person is expected to maintain a single, personal EdgeLineup account.
Shared, duplicate, or automated accounts may be closed without notice.
You are responsible for everything done through your login credentials.

4. Account usage and acceptable behaviour

4.1 Accurate registration

You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information when creating your account.
You must not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.

4.2 Security of credentials

Keep your username and password private and secure.
If you suspect any misuse, you should update your password and contact us at support@edgelineup.com.

4.3 Prohibited behaviour

Attempting to bypass the age or regional gate.
Using scripts, bots, or automation to participate in contests or update lineups.
Manipulating scoring, exploiting bugs, or interfering with normal platform operation.
Harassing, abusing, or misleading other users.
Uploading or sharing content that is illegal, hateful, or harmful.

We may suspend or close accounts for violations of these rules. In serious cases, we may also notify relevant service providers or authorities as required.

5. Scoring, content, and platform changes

5.1 Scoring model

EdgeLineup uses a scoring matrix based on real cricket events (runs, wickets, catches, etc.).
We may adjust scoring rules to maintain balance or clarity.
When scoring changes are made, we aim to update our rules documentation in a timely way.

5.2 Third-party data

We may depend on external data sources for match events and statistics.
If there are delays or inaccuracies in that data, displayed scores may temporarily differ from the final result.
We may correct scoring if underlying data feeds are updated or corrected.

5.3 Platform evolution

We may add, modify, or remove features or formats without prior notice.
We may temporarily suspend parts of the platform for maintenance or technical reasons.
We may discontinue the service or specific features if needed.

6. No financial relationship or guarantees

Using EdgeLineup does not create any financial or investment relationship between you and EdgeLineup Fantasy Sports Private Limited.

We do not owe you financial returns, profits, or earnings from your gameplay.
We do not guarantee access to any specific contests, matches, or formats.
We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make outside the platform based on your interpretation of scores or data here.

If you see any third party claiming that EdgeLineup offers money-making opportunities, please treat that claim as inaccurate and inform us.

7. Privacy and data use

Our handling of your personal data is described in detail in the Privacy Policy. In short:

We collect only the information needed to run accounts and improve the platform.
We do not collect payment data for gameplay because the platform is free-to-play.
We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising inside core gameplay.
We may process anonymised or aggregated data to understand usage patterns.

By using EdgeLineup, you consent to data handling as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Liability, availability, and indemnity

8.1 Platform availability

We try to keep EdgeLineup stable, fast, and available, but uptime is not guaranteed.
Outages, lag, or technical issues may occur, especially around high-traffic fixtures.

8.2 Limitation of liability

EdgeLineup is provided “as is”.
We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from platform usage.
Your decision to spend time on the platform is voluntary and at your own discretion.

8.3 Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EdgeLineup Fantasy Sports Private Limited and its team from claims, damages, or losses arising from:

Your breach of these Terms.
Your misuse of the platform or any content on it.
Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights while using the platform.
